Out of Site
Out of Site was a participatory media arts project, focusing on Travellers, living in the East Riding of Yorkshire, supported by Arts Council - England. The project was a partnership between Cascade, METAS, “Hidden Voices”, Cottingham High, Media Arts Specialist School and the Traveller Community. It involved a series of participatory media art workshops leading to an online broadcast, a touring exhibition and a publication. Thematically “Out of Site” was about the changing identity of a hidden community, integration, technological inclusion, fantasy and oral history.

Boards from the Out of Site exhibition at Beverley Treasure House, 10th May - 20th June 2009. The exhibition is also touring around six venues in the East Riding of Yorkshire in the coming year, including Burton Constable Hall and Warter Church.
