'pop art' DickensIf you could write your own Great Expectations how would it turn out? Taking the themes from Dickens’ novel as a springboard Cascade Arts will produce a short three part audio drama for the Humber Mouth festival, examining three stages in a persons life and the decisions they have made that led them there. A short ‘interactive fiction’ will go online the week before the festival, and then directly after each episode, allowing the public to influence these choices – and the ultimate direction of the story.

Episodes will be available to listen to from 3pm on each Saturday of the festival. The interactive fiction will go live at the same time, with the first part available on Saturday 16th June.

This podcast was created with people from Greatfield Estate in Hull. Residents describe it as “The Forgotten Estate” because many of it’s close neighbours have had major development work in recent years. In the podcast, local people explain why the estate should have it’s own community radio station.
