Last Orders, Please is an oral history project focusing on the role of public houses as a centre for the community and their changing uses as the communities they serve have changed. Over the next year Cascade will work with a team of volunteers to research and produce a documentary film and exhibition. Supported through the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Exhibition Closing
Due to the annual stock take at Hull History Centre, the Last Orders, Please exhibition is coming down on Friday 25th November. If you haven’t been to see it yet, this week is your last chance, so get down there!
Last Orders, Please Exhibition
It’s the culmination of our Last Orders, Please project, exploring the heritage of Hull’s public houses. The exhibition, at Hull History Centre, will feature the film, audio, archive materials, an interactive map of the Old Town pubs and Hull Brewery memorabilia.

You could volunteer on the project and learn skills in film-making, graphic design, oral history or just learn more about you local area. We offer training and support to all volunteers throughout the project. You can contact us to find out more.
