Cascade is an artist's group established to provide participatory arts workshops, projects, events and exhibitions. It is the aim of the group to promote inclusion through engaging local communities in creative activities.
Cascade artists have a strong track record in designing and delivering participatory activities, we are also able to offer high quality design and production services for web sites, video and music.
You can play Mind Games here:

We’ve also added a walkthrough!
My last Mind Games meeting is still in session as the project draws to a close. Today has been spent tweaking things and smoothing out any rough bits.
It’s still in various sections at the moment so even though we have seen all parts of it, it will still be a bit of a treat to see it all put together.
There are some little comic moments within it to look forward to and it gives an insight into the minds of those of us that have been working on it. Hopefully it will also give people an idea of what it is like to experience having a mental illness and the common feelings attached to that. I’m glad that we have chosen to be slightly vague about it all though because we didn’t want anything that is too pushy with it’s message. If people do understand more from it or go onto to look at mental illness in more detail then great, but if not it will have just been a great game played!
There is going to be a launch for the game to give it it’s first exposure to players. This will take place at the Kingston Youth Centre in Hull on the 2nd March
Hopefully this will give us the chance to meet some of the other young people who are behind parts of the game as it has just been the two of us at Cascade HQ working on the main room of the game.
We hope you all enjoy it and the game will be online soon!!
Kingston Youth Centre, Beverley Road. Monday 21st – Friday 25th February

If you have a story to share about a pub or the area you live in we’d love to hear it, so please get in touch. We’d love to hear about how the pubs and the communities around them have changed over the years.
Today was a pretty productive session. Had a good time drawing all the food for the fridge. I was in a pretty good mood when I came but it helped continue my high spirits by being so creative and productive today.
As we were working we chatted and swapped ideas for other parts of the game. Twas fun. ![]()
There has been a lot of progress on the game as a whole and it is not far from being complete now. We have about five weeks left now and it’s getting really exciting and I can’t wait to see the finished product. It will be good to let other people play it but I can’t wait to play it myself
