My last Mind Games meeting is still in session as the project draws to a close. Today has been spent tweaking things and smoothing out any rough bits.
It’s still in various sections at the moment so even though we have seen all parts of it, it will still be a bit of a treat to see it all put together.
There are some little comic moments within it to look forward to and it gives an insight into the minds of those of us that have been working on it. Hopefully it will also give people an idea of what it is like to experience having a mental illness and the common feelings attached to that. I’m glad that we have chosen to be slightly vague about it all though because we didn’t want anything that is too pushy with it’s message. If people do understand more from it or go onto to look at mental illness in more detail then great, but if not it will have just been a great game played!
There is going to be a launch for the game to give it it’s first exposure to players. This will take place at the Kingston Youth Centre in Hull on the 2nd March
Hopefully this will give us the chance to meet some of the other young people who are behind parts of the game as it has just been the two of us at Cascade HQ working on the main room of the game.
We hope you all enjoy it and the game will be online soon!!
